Bio

I am thrilled to be joining the First Grade team this year and wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Natalie Orr and I am a Placer County native who has a deep appreciation for the outdoors and education. I had the privilege of attending college in both Southern California and Hawaii, where I further cultivated my love for nature, particularly through hiking, waterfall chasing, and camping adventures. I have a beloved border collie who accompanies me on many of my outdoor excursions.

Teaching is my true passion, especially when it comes to guiding young learners on their educational journey and helping them achieve important milestones. I firmly believe in the power of community and strive to create a warm and inclusive environment for all students and their families. It is my goal to foster a sense of belonging and ensure that every student feels supported and valued in our classroom.

I am delighted to share that this will be my third year teaching first grade, and prior to that, I gained valuable experience as a substitute teacher in various Placer County Districts. The opportunity to be part of the Eagle family fills me with immense joy and excitement, and I am eagerly looking forward to an incredible school year filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences.
