Bio
My name is Ms. Orr and I am a part of the first grade team at Rocklin Academy. I am delighted
to share that this will be my fifth year teaching first grade and my third year with Rocklin
Academy. I am a Placer County native who has a deep appreciation for the outdoors and
education. I had the privilege of attending college in both Southern California and Hawaii, where
I further cultivated my love for nature, particularly through hiking, waterfall chasing, and camping
adventures. I have a beloved border collie who accompanies me on many of my outdoor
excursions.

Teaching is my true passion, especially when it comes to guiding young learners on their
educational journey and helping them achieve important milestones. I firmly believe in the power
of community and strive to create a warm and inclusive environment for all students and their
families. It is my goal to foster a sense of belonging and ensure that every student feels
supported and valued in our classroom. I am eagerly looking forward to an incredible school
year filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences. GO EAGLES!
