Hello, my name is Sarah Stanton.  I am originally from South Dakota, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies.  My husband Mark and I have two children, Lauren (19) and Andrew (18).  Lauren is a freshman at Cal Poly majoring in Architectural Engineering, and Andrew is a freshman at UC Santa Barbara majoring in Pre-Biology.  We have two poodles named Finn and Ziggy, who are a lot of fun!  Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, and some of my favorite activities are skiing, hiking, and swimming.

Rocklin Academy has been my family for the past 15 years. Lauren and Andrew attended Rocklin Academy from Kindergarten to 8th grade. This will be my eighth year of teaching at Rocklin Academy, and I look forward to the new school year.  My goal is to encourage students to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to build confidence within themselves.  I am excited to be teaching with my team next year.
