Welcome to third grade! My name is Carly Windham, and I am absolutely thrilled to be your third-grade teacher this year. I’ve had the pleasure of being part of the Rocklin Academy community for the past two school years. I have previously taught in the first grade and I’m so excited to continue this journey with all of you. My mission as an educator is to create a classroom environment that sparks creativity and fosters a strong sense of community, respect, and inclusivity. I believe that every student brings something unique and valuable to our classroom, and I’m committed to making sure everyone feels seen, heard, and supported as we grow and learn together.

I graduated from Sacramento State with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Outside of the classroom, one of my greatest passions is dance. I’m currently entering my fourth season as the coach of the Rocklin High School Dance Team, and for the past eight summers, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to travel across the country working with high school and collegiate dance teams through the National Dance Alliance. In my free time, I love being outdoors—whether it’s hiking, skiing, or spending time with my dog, Luna. I also enjoy quality time with friends and loved ones, especially when we’re exploring nature together.

I’m so excited for another amazing year of learning, growing, and creating lasting memories together at Rocklin Academy.
