Bio

Hello amazing kindergarten families! My name is Allie Polonsky and I'm so excited to join the Rocklin Academy team this year! This will be my tenth year teaching and my fourth year teaching kindergarten. Prior to teaching kindergarten, I taught first grade and combination first/second and second/third grade classes. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and Teaching Credential from California State University East Bay.

I have dreamed of becoming a teacher since MY first day of kindergarten- teaching is and always has been my dream job! Kindergarten is such an exciting and important year of academic, social, and emotional growth. I am so excited to help instill a love of school and learning in my students this coming year. I love using hands-on activities, learning games, and physical movement in my lessons each day.

This summer, I moved from the Bay Area to Placer County and am so excited to get to explore my new home! In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, family and friends. I have two cats, Poppy and Rocket, and I love playing with them. I also love home decorating, baking, and crafting.

I am excited to be joining this amazing school community and am looking forward to a great school year together! Go Eagles!
