Bio

Hello Rocklin Academy families,

  My name is Linda Chemaly and I am one of the physical education teachers. This will be my 4th year teaching with Rocklin Academy. 

  I’m originally from New York where I received my teaching degree in physical education from Cortland State University. I moved to San Diego in 1990, worked as a personal trainer, got married and raised 3 sons.  They are all grown and living on their own, 2 in Southern California and 1 in Austin, TX. 

   My husband and I moved to the Rocklin area 10 years ago due to my husband’s

job. Being empty nesters, we are enjoying our time committing to our health by working out, golfing, paddle boarding, playing pickleball and skiing in the winter. We also love to travel, not only to different countries, but especially to visit our east coast family and our sons!

 I love my job and enjoy teaching the students about health and fitness, and introducing new sports and activities, hoping to make a long lasting footprint in their lives. I look forward to working with your student this year!
