Hello first grade students and families! My name is Morgan Votava, and I’m so excited to be starting my second year teaching at Rocklin Academy! Teaching is truly my passion, and I feel so grateful to be part of such a caring and energetic school community.
I started my teaching journey in Kindergarten as a long-term substitute before moving into a First Grade teaching role. My goal in the classroom is always to create a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where every student can grow, express themselves, and feel confident. I grew up in Rocklin and feel lucky to now teach in the same community that helped shape who I am.
Outside of school, I enjoy swimming, running, and spending time outdoors! I feel truly fortunate to be part of the Rocklin Academy family and I am excited for another fun and memorable school year. I believe every student has the ability to learn, grow, and succeed, and I look forward to partnering with new students and families on this journey.
