Bio

Hello families, 

My name is Ashley Johnson. I am going into my second year as a 2nd grade teacher at Rocklin Academy. I have also taught 3rd grade at Rocklin Academy Gateway. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from California State University of Sacramento, and later decided to get my teaching credential! I am currently working on completing my Masters degree. 

I have a fur baby named Luna who is a Queensland Heeler/ Australian Shepherd mix who is about to turn 4. I love training her and taking her on adventures! In my spare time, I love baking sweets such as cookies, cakes, and more! 

I look forward to getting to know each and every one of your students, and providing them with a safe learning environment where they can become confident and responsible, and take on many challenges with strong problem solving skills. This year will be full of learning and fun all in one!
