Bio

Hello Families,

My name is Ashley Johnson, and I am excited to begin my fourth year teaching 2nd grade at Rocklin Academy! I earned my Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento, and later completed my teaching credential and Master’s degree in Teaching.

Outside of the classroom, I have a fur baby named Luna, who is a Queensland Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix and is about to turn six years old. I love training her and taking her on new adventures! In my free time, I also enjoy baking sourdough bread, cookies, cakes, and other sweet treats.

I look forward to getting to know each and every one of your students and creating a safe, supportive learning environment where they can grow into confident, responsible learners. My goal is to encourage students to take on challenges, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and develop a love for learning throughout the year.
