Bio

My name is Sabrina Cruz, and this is my second year teaching 5th grade at Rocklin Academy. I received my BA from Sac State and earned my teaching credential and Master of Education from National University. My philosophy on teaching is that each child is unique and requires a supportive learning environment where they can develop mentally, emotionally, and socially. In my classroom, students have a safe space to share ideas and take risks. Students are given choices and opportunities to let their curiosity help direct their learning. Some fun facts about me are that I am getting married in September, have 4 pets, love playing board games, and I am a massive fan of Queen and the Beatles. I look forward to working with you as partners in your child's learning during 5th grade!
