 Hello Rocklin Academy Families, 

My name is Deanna Gomez and this is my ninth year teaching at Rocklin Academy. After teaching first grade and fourth grade for the last thirteen years this will be my first year teaching sixth grade! I am looking forward to another great school year with my students. 

My family and I moved to Placer County several years ago from San Diego. I graduated with honors from Vanguard University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I completed my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Clear Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University.

I have two children. My daughter Selena is a junior in high school and my son Daniel is in sixth grade.  I enjoy using my Peloton bike, cheering on my children as they play sports, Star Wars, and spending time with my family.

I love being a part of the family at Rocklin Academy and am looking forward to another amazing, memorable school year. I believe that all students can learn and achieve at high levels and look forward to working with new students and parents.
