 Hello Rocklin Academy Families, 

My name is Deanna Gomez and this is my eighth year teaching at Rocklin Academy. After teaching first grade for seven years, this will be my fifth year teaching fourth grade! I am looking forward to another great year with my students. 

My family and I moved to Placer County seven years ago from San Diego, where we lived for nine years. I graduated with honors from Vanguard University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I completed my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Clear Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University.

I have two children. My daughter Selena is a sophomore and my son Daniel is in 5th grade.  I enjoy using my Peloton bike, cheering on my children as they play sports, Star Wars, and spending time with my family.

I love being a part of the family at Rocklin Academy and am looking forward to another amazing, memorable school year. I believe that all students can learn and achieve at high levels and look forward to working with new students and parents.
