Hello Rocklin Academy Families,
My name is Deanna Gomez and this is my tenth year teaching at Rocklin Academy. After teaching first grade and fourth grade for several years this will be my second year teaching sixth grade! I am looking forward to another great school year with my students.
My family and I moved to Placer County several years ago from San Diego. I graduated with honors from Vanguard University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I completed my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Clear Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University.
My husband and I have two children. Our daughter Selena is a senior in high school and my son Daniel is in seventh grade. Both of my children have attended RAFOS schools so our family has deep roots here. Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym, cheering on my children as they play sports, Star Wars, and spending time with my family.
I love being a part of the family at Rocklin Academy and am looking forward to an amazing, memorable school year ahead. I truly believe that all students can learn at high levels, and I cannot wait to work with my new students and their families!
