Hello! My name is Lisa Swenson, and I’m thrilled to be starting my 6th year at Rocklin Academy, teaching 6th grade. I currently serve as the ACES facilitator, where I have the pleasure of working with student leaders to plan rallies, spirit days, and a variety of fun, community-building activities.
With 20 years of teaching experience, I’ve taught Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and 5th grades. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Sacramento and received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Hayward.
Outside of teaching, I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids—an 18-year-old college freshman, a 15-year-old high schooler, and a 12-year-old daughter who just began middle school. I’m also lucky to have a supportive husband and two adorable dogs who keep life extra fun.
Teaching is my passion—second only to being a mom—and I truly believe it’s the best job in the world. I’m so excited for the year ahead and am committed to making it the best one yet!
