Hello Rocklin Academy families! My name is Lauren Beyer (formerly Miss Votava) and I am thrilled to be teaching another year of Kindergarten at Rocklin Academy! I joined the Rocklin Academy family in 2019 as a student teacher in Kindergarten with Mrs. Reno. I fell in love with all of the exceptional students, staff, and families at our school along with the amazing Core Knowledge curriculum that we teach. I am excited for another year with my partner teachers Mrs. Reno and Miss Wood!

I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Literacy from the University of Idaho. I am from Rocklin, California but my swimming career brought me to Idaho where I was able to compete on the women's swim team while completing my education. GO VANDALS! I started teaching swim lessons at a young age and believe that coaching swimming is one of the reasons I found my passion for teaching. 

My husband, Austin, and I welcomed our sweet baby girl, Brynlee, on April 23rd 2024. We have loved watching her grow and taking on our new role as parents! We also have two puppies, Vandi and Marley, that love their new baby sister! We enjoy spending time together outside, walking, swimming, biking, and boating! Tahoe and Idaho are two of my favorite places to visit!
