Don't forget that the Meteorology Project has a change of due date.
The Packet (weather tracking, US map, and "script") are still due Tuesday, 2/26. (You will get these back same day to use for your video.)
The video presentation is due the following Monday, 3/4.
The date was extended because iPads were required to be kept at school over the break. If you chose to do your video on a device from home, you can submit to me through email or airdrop when you have finished. We will share our videos in class on Monday, 3/4.
Meteorology Test is on Thursday 2/28 and topics covered are:
Water Cycle, Types of clouds, Layers of the Atmosphere, Climate, Cold and Warm fronts, weather tools, wind, ozone layer and hot air rises.

For the test, you should study:
-how to label the 7 continents
-how to label the 4 oceans
-the 5 major mountain ranges
-the 6 tallest peaks
-what is a compass rose, cardinal directions, intermediate directions, map scale, map key/legend
-latitude (runs east to west but is measured in degrees north and south of the Equator)
-longitude (runs north and south but is measured in degrees east and west of the Prime Meridian
-what is a physical map (shows land features, like mountains and valleys)
-elevation (the height of a place, maps use lines or color to show elevation)
-a degree symbol
