Hello Class! This is a busy week. There is no homework other than:

 

-Read Nightly. Practice Math Facts.

-Get extra rest and eat a good breakfast (MAP TESTING IS WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY)

-Make sure your iPad is returned to school fully charged on TUESDAY.

-Practice your recorder for CK Night. (Thursday, 5:55 pm, Amphitheater, wear red/white/blue, bring your recorder)

This week is a week to celebrate! CAASPP testing is complete! Our new focus is our persuasive speech! We will have our in class speech competition on Friday, May 10th in the afternoon. Speeches will come home as soon as they are finished and printed. Please read and rehearse at home. 

 

Also, please get your field trip permission slip signed and returned by Friday.

1. Please make sure you have headphones, iPad, charger in class. Make sure to go to bed early and eat a good breakfast.

Hello class! This week is going to be a busy week. It's almost winter break! There is no homework to complete and turn in, but you still need to know/do the following! :)

2. Study for your China's Dynasty Test on Wednesday. Study Guide is below. (If you already passed the pre-test, you do not need to re-take the test!) 

3. Study for your Geology Test on Wednesday. Study Guide is below. 

4. Study for spelling test Wednesday. The ten words are: molten, glacier, tectonic, fault, geyser, seismograph, conclusion, erosion, epicenter, tsunami 

***Also, you can practice with games on spelling city in class and at home to prepare. :)

Tuesday: Rock Day (flyer below) Fun day of hands-on learning and experiments, along with touring our "rock museums".

Wednesday: Finishing up projects, taking assessments, cleaning and organizing!

Thursday: STEM activity with 2nd grade, Mug exchange (flyer below), Movie and Pajama Day! ALSO a MINI DAY. Dismissal is at 11:40.
