1. Speeches are due tomorrow. Please have a hand written or typed copy to turn in. If you use a computer to type them, I can put it into your Google Drive if your parents email it to me. Practice reading and timing yourself. Use the tips sheet to help you! We will have round 1 with judges on Wednesday, so you have two more days to practice/rehearse.

 

2. Advertisements for your store for Market Day is due tomorrow. It should simple have the name of your store, the cost of the items you plan to sell, and some colorful pictures.

4. Language Arts: Using the diagram of a schooner, and the explanation of the ship terms, write a short story using at least 10 terms. Use your best English Conventions, sentence structure, and "showing versus telling" language. Include dialogue. Have Fun!

5. Cursive Packet: Cursive to be completed at home as an extra challenge. Students who complete practice by end of May and learn to sign their names and connect letters will be awarded, rewarded, and celebrated in class. 

6. Science: Chemistry Test Friday, practice with your study guide.

2. Language Arts: Finish your "Book" on Book Creator App. Use instagrok to find pictures if you need to, or you may draw pictures and take a photo of your art. Your "Book" needs a cover, 1 page for the time period, 1 page for their childhood, 1 page for significant events (time line would work great here, 1 page describing why they are significant, 1 page for giving your opinion of this person. You can add more pages as you see fit. We will share these in class to learn about each others famous people. Note: "1 page" means 1 page dedicated to that topic, not one page of typing.
