Hi! My name is Tanya Capulong and I look forward to teaching second grade again at Rocklin Academy Turnstone. I am an enthusiastic and compassionate teacher who strives to ensure that all students are successful. My goal is to instill a love of learning in each of my students. I believe that with a strong home-school partnership each child will reach their fullest potential. I look forward to partnering with parents to provide a challenging and positive classroom experience for all students.

 

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Sociology from Long Beach State and my teaching credential from Chapman University. I received my CLAD/CTEL from Stanford University. This will be my sixteenth year of teaching in the elementary grades. 

 

I live in Rocklin with my family. I have two sons, Jake and Ryan. I am so proud of them for the amazing young men they have become. We enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, going to the beach, baseball games, and exploring nature.

 

I look forward to an exciting 2022/2023 school year. I am committed to working closely with my second grade team along with our parents to ensure that all students have a successful school year.
